The article ignores the single most important fact regarding Foster’s death: He was under counterintelligence surveillance at the time he died. (See pp 77-78, “The Oil Card” by former Forbes reporter James R. Norman). The real reason for Hillary’s ire at Vince was no doubt that she had been tipped to that fact by a CIA source, and knew Vince had also brought her under suspicion of profiting from the sale of state secrets through his Swiss bank account. Vince, who had a long relationship with the NSA, was White House point man on the Clipper Chip phone encryption project and according to Deborah Graham had at least one NSA binder in his office when he died. Who knows what all could have been going out the door through Vince to help pay for the Clinton’s massive off-the-books election costs (probably double the campaign’s disclosed outlays).

The curious rendezvous at the Cardozo mansion on the Eastern Shore of Maryland on the weekend before Vince died as hardly a “coincidental” gathering for R&R. I’m told it was a serious damage control session in which the Clinton crowd were pressuring Vince to take a fall for them all: cop a plea and cauterize the threat of further investigation. He apparently balked at that. And died. I suspect the rationale for his elimination was that he was a spy at risk of fleeing the country. Ambrose Evans-Pritchard at the time confirmed Foster had been making periodic one-day trips to Switzerland and had an open ticket. Thus followed the massive coverup and intimidation campaign chronicled by Fort Marcy Park witness Patrick Knowlton.

Certain FBI agents, including some assigned to Starr as Knowlton notes, were integral to the cover-up and could be expected to create plenty of false reports to lead away from the truth. Among them is the notion that Foster was depressed. In fact, he was worried about something. Former Starr assistant Miguel Rodriguez noted that Foster was for some reason worried about losing his security clearance. Foster was prescribed medication by his doctor — not for depression, but to help him sleep.

Sorry Mr Kessler. You’re still not giving us the true story.

That’s Deborah Gorham, rather than “Graham.”
