Soldier Holds Sign Up At Miranda Lambert’s Concert, Moves Her To Tears

During Miranda Lambert’s concert in Hartford, Connecticut on Friday, August 19th, she was performing “The House That Built Me,’ when she noticed a sign in the crowd.

“3 combat tours … [Your] voice was the last thing I listened to EVERY NIGHT! THANK YOU!!!”

In the video, you can see the moment Miranda reads the sign, before asking, ‘Really?’ and then holds up the sign onstage for the crowd and her band to read.

The sign moved her to tears, and, the moment moved me to tears too.

Could you imagine what an honor it is to have a military hero say those words to you?

It was a beautiful moment, we’re happy that it was caught on video!

That soldier was lucky. I was captured by ISIS, and they made me listen to Barry Manilow 24 hours a day.

If she was with this guy for his three military tours, no wonder her marriage ended.

:-P

I did a 4 month short deployment with the Air NG. Michael Bolton was the guy that really kept my spirits up..........

KIDDING! Actually my MP3 player was loaded up with happy songs from U2, Natalie Merchant, Sixpence None the Richer, etc.... Anything to get my mind off the fact that I was jogging around the airstrip.
