You have a pressure fryer in your home?
I’ve seen consumer models but they start around $500.

Agreed.

A pressure fryer isn't a pressure cooker, nor is it a standard fryer (which you can pick up very cheaply). A pressure fryer will run anywhere from between $700 all the way up to $10,000.

You can get a decent one for about $1000 - $1500.

No where close to you! :)

Living in Texas, not far from Big D to be more exact. The taste a reminder of the soda fountain burgers of our now departed drug stores. Best darn burger ever eaten.

I’ve read instances in the blogosphere where some people are crazy enough to fry in a pressure cooker. That’s nuts!

Years ago I had a pressure cooker blow a rivet and shoot steam into my stomach.
That’s a very, very painful type burn.
I went out the next day and got another one.
This one has no rivets in the cooking chamber - a Fagor. Love my pressure cooker!

Gunna get one of these when I win the lottery.. :-)

A friend worked at a KFC and that is what he claimed. As soon as they changed over it went downhill.

They make small stove top ones too. I got mine on Amazon.

The KFC locally isn’t fit to eat. They changed the recipe someway and not the skin is a burnt brown color instead of the old light brown color.

We bought the $20 deal about three weeks ago and I swear they killed pigeons for the chicken legs, it was pathetic. We usually hit Lee’s Famous Recipe or a local grocery store a Food City who has a full kitchen and they make awesome fried chicken. KFC is killing themselves with inedible food, lower quality and higher prices. That is a recipe for disaster in the long run.

The only sandwich ever eaten where the bread is as good as or better than the filling between the slices. Not only are they delicious, they are YUGE sandwiches!
One is more than enough for two people.

This gravy recipe shows the ingenuity of Harland Sanders. Imagine how he got bouillon cubes to make a chicken gravy that people crave over real chicken gravy. Amazing. Thanks.

MSG is extracted from sugar beets.

I have read that Good Seasons Italian Dressing Mix (the powder) is a close match to the “11 herbs and spices”.
