These threads started out as The Trump Family Group. We began as a small group of Trump supporters who enjoyed getting together for the rallies during the primaries. We became friends and supportive of each other. This group has grown by leaps and bounds and nopardons was in the group from the beginning. Though we have never met, I feel I have come to know her and can say she has been misunderstood in her postings tonight.
The Rally threads were a type of sanctuary thread—because the Cruz supporters were pretty relentless in their criticism of Trump and anyone supporting Trump...and these rally threads were deemed (by Jim R.) as off-limits from negative Trump or Trump supporter posts...We were a rather small group in January/February.
The term “Family” just evolved because the threads took on a very personal air. People posted what they were eating for dinner during the dinner time rallies (even recipes), what they had done for the day while waiting for the rally, if they had gone or were going to a rally...etc. People fondly referred to the ping list as the Trump Family, and the Rally threads were the Trump Family Rally threads...That’s it. Nikos kindly has posted these threads from the beginning...again, just sort of evaolved and does a fabulous job...
Now we are all Trump supporters here, a.k. “Trump Family” here. I believe we should not tear each other apart—especially on Rally thread and during this critical time in our Country’s history.
