Kellyanne Conway Is Not Helping Donald Trump – And Perhaps That’s the Plan…
The Last Refuge ^ | August 24, 2016 | Sundance

Posted on 08/24/2016 5:32:27 AM PDT by SatinDoll

There were two types of people who attended CPAC in March 2016 and gave Speaker Paul “Omnibus” Ryan (the former chair of the budget, well, actually, non-budget committee) a standing ovation.

Type one was the professional political class, the UniParty membership, the GOPe; those who happily welcomed Omnibus and who gleefully ignore the seventh spending of the nearly $1 trillion, “one-time” 2009 stimulus bill.

Type two, was those who are overcome with battered conservative syndrome and see nothing wrong with giving thanks to their abuser.

One of those attendees was the former partner of GOPe mouthpiece Frank Luntz, and current campaign manager for Donald Trump, Kellyanne Conway.

Whether Conway is the hand placing the scorpion into the bed sheets of Trump, or whether she is the scorpion itself, is yet to be determined. However, one thing appears quite clear, she was not put into the Trump campaign to ensure his election. Exactly the opposite appears true.

Conway’s current action, the ‘too-cute-by-half’ schtick on Trump’s immigration policy, is factually undermining the Trump campaign. Then again, shouldn’t this be expected when fellow consulting traveler Luntz and herself hold the same professional immigration objectives outlined in their historic support for Marco ‘gang-of-eight‘ Rubio.

It’s well known, the UniParty has a collective immigration agenda, amnesty (under various “comprehensive” parseltongue auspices), and a quasi-open border approach granting virtually unlimited immigration use policies.

Everyone would be very wise to remember the Senate Gang-of-Eight bill almost passed the house in 2014 because Boehner, Cantor, McCarthy, Ryan were all actively working toward the vote in June when Cantor was primaried by Dave Brat. Brat’s defeat of Cantor stopped the vote less than 72 hours before it was scheduled to take place.

In the buildup to the June 2014 House vote, Frank Luntz and the various Fox tentacles were in full alignment with the GOPe to pass the grand Obamacare-like usurpation against the will of the electorate.

The U.S. CoC, Wall Street, the people who pay for ‘the Conways’ of the political class, had it all worked out.

Back in August of 2015, when Jeb was still the chosen choice and when the rise of Trump was the paramount GOPe/UniParty concern, another of Conway’s professional consulting allies, Alex Castellanos shared exactly how the Trump insurgency could be destroyed:

[…] The best way to do it is how Brutus killed Caesar. Get real close, snuggle up, and shiv him in the ribs.

If by “shive him in the ribs” Castellanos was referring to having Trump’s campaign manager directly and unilaterally begin to contradict the very platform that gained Donald Trump so much enthusiastic support, then it appears the Castellano’s plan is well underway.

In the past four days, it appears Mrs. Conway -a long term advocate for the GOPe position– has begun to undermine her own candidate:

Conway attempted to clarify Trump’s stance on immigration, saying he wants to ensure the law is enforced…. “to be determined“, she says.

“What he supports is to make sure that we enforce the law, that we are respectful of those Americans who are looking for well-paying jobs, and that we are fair and humane for those who live among us in this country,” she said.

It appears Mrs. Conway is quite adept at creating just the right size crack in her candidate’s armor that will allow the circling MSM to drive their wedge lustfully into the opening and provide themselves the demoralizingly joyful “we told you so” to Donald Trump supporters. “Isolate-Ridicule-Marginalize” ~Saul Alinsky

And Conway’s veiled efforts are not going unnoticed:

Mickey Kaus, an overwhelmingly decent man, is being overly generous with the use of “suggestive generalities“. What Kellyanne Conway is actually doing is far more damaging, far more demoralizing.

And with the 25+ year political pedigree of Mrs. Conway in mind, and knowing her rolodex is jammed full with a who’s-who of the professional UniPartyparty apparatus, and knowing she is a walking gatekeeper for Billionaire Robert Mercer, well… it ain’t because she’s new or naive to this process – Conway knows exactly what she’s doing.

…and none of it is good:

And it ain’t just Mickey, Byron and us noticing:

@04:16 “this could be my shortest book tour ever”… [Quote from Ann Coulter]

Some political followers who also travel through the deep weeds have suggested that Conway is testing out “false flags” to gauge the potential severity for backlash.

Nope. I just can’t extend her that much credit…. it just sounds too much like falling back on the old “battered conservative syndrome” hopes and prayers – they won’t do it again, etc.

Oh hell yes they will. They always do.

Breaking the cycle of battered conservative syndrome means you accept things as they are, not as you wish them to be.

If you accept things as they are – the fact is Mrs. Kellyanne Conway has spent her entire political lifetime advocating for, and being paid for, positions that are entirely popular amid the donor class and the professional DC politburo…. then, you must also accept grandma’s odd adage: “a leopard doesn’t change it’s spots“.

Or for the sake of this analogy, Aesop’s fable is more appropriate:

scorpion-frog

A scorpion and a frog meet on the bank of a stream and the scorpion asks the frog to carry him across on its back.

The frog asks, “How do I know you won’t sting me?” The scorpion says, “Because if I do, I will die too.”

The frog is satisfied, and they set out. But in midstream, the scorpion stings the frog. The frog feels the onset of paralysis and starts to sink, knowing they both will drown, but has just enough time to gasp “Why?”

Replies the scorpion: “It’s my nature…”

Trump Frog.

“Shiv” delivered.

It’s her “nature”…

I was puzzled by the hiring of Conway by the Trump campaign. While she probably IS devious and dangerous, I’ve always considered her a fairly dim bulb, and a lightweight. And I couldn’t understand why Trump would want her gumming up his team.

I understand. But I’ve had that feeling for a long time now that they’re staying, at least most of them. It’s too difficult for our politicians, and half of the citizens, to send back people who were born here, or were brought as children.

Others like the cheap labor, which is costing the tax payers.costing the tax payers. Dems want new voters.

I feel our only hope is to fight for no citizenship for them, no rights of citizenship, no right to vote even in local elections, and no sponsorship rights for extended family. If they want to be with family, stay there. If they commit a crime, deport them regardless of political blowback.

No “comprehensive” immigration reform. Build the wall. Make a new commitment to enforce the law as it stands.

“Watch the polls after Labor Day... Then you will know whether Kellyanne is helping or hurting the Trump campaign”

All of you are giving her too much credit. Last I knew, TRUMP was the candidate. Polls schmolls, they are rigged, They are using antiquated methods, and Trump is a unique candidate.

Everything about this election year is DIFFERENT! Social media, digital communication, non typical polling, voter anger, people distrusting the media more than ever, the media OPENLY out to GET the Republican candidate, a Democrat candidate that is HATED by many, people are sick of dynasties, a YUGE number of Supreme Court Justices will be appointed by the president elected THIS year, the Democrat candidate is a CROOK, the Democrat candidate is “unstable” both mentally and physically, and last but most certainly not least, a blue collar billionaire, financing his own campaign, who loves this country, and will make it great again.

Trump will win in a LANDSLIDE! and Kellyanne Conway will have had very little to do with it.

And by the way, all the #NeverTrumpers WILL end up begrudgingly voting for Trump.

What I heard Trump say on Hannity last night about immigration is that he plans to enforce our current laws.

She’s a political campaign manager...hired to do a job. She wouldn’t have taken the job unless she wanted Trump, her boss to win.

Come on, folks, think about her credentials.

Ok, most conservative conspiracy theories I believe.

This one is nuts.

Trump wants to start his own network and doesn’t really want to be president! Oh NO!!!!! (insert Van Gogh “The Scream” here)

Conway is an asset; I heard her interview on Herman Cain show...awesome.

Recall that in years past, Congressmen and others, even presidents, came from other backgrounds and went BACK TO THEIR JOBS...their JOBS WERE NOT BEING A POLITICIAN.

So, call Trump a throw back, so if he starts a network after being a president, that is a GOOD THING!!!

Wake up!

“Which is approximately 30 million of them.”

Exactly. We’re continuously told it’s 12/13/14 million. But nobody knows how many there really are hiding in the USA. Toss in a last “tsunamic wave” of illegals washing across the border once amnesty is declared...and we are screwed.

But hey, like Hillary sez...”What’s a few more?”

“There’s going to be some form of what we think of as amnesty.”

Thankfully, Trump has stated very clearly this is not going to be the case. “We’re going to enforce the laws,” he said on Hannity’s town hall aired last night.

Vote Trump 2016

I think Kellyanne has been doing a great job as evident by Trump’s great speeches in the last week. So don’t get yourself all twisted up – Trump is on teleprompter and doing great. Trump is a great judge of character of the people so don’t worry, if she gets out of line, she will be out of the stoplight.

Now back to the immigration stance. If some of you and Ann Coulter believe he will immediately round up people and put them on a train back to Mexico or wherever, then you are living in a dream world. Think of what Trump is saying (VERY SMART) – “we will be humane – we will follow the law” . The Law says deportation if not here legally or overstayed your visa. Period. He is trapping everyone into believing he wants amnesty or something. Second, who is our “Deportation Force” – Wait for it, Wait for it — ICE, yes our own government agency. Since the Law is already on the books, they just need the go-ahead.

Now they aren’t going to round up everyone, but if you are caught and here illegally, then you go back. Period. That’s the law which hasn’t been enforced. Now Congress might not like the law, then they’ve got to change it. I don’t think anyone will fault Trump for “following the law”. So get on board the Trump Train, we still have a few more cars with empty seats, and vote for Trump.

NOTE: There is a provision in the current laws for those who have been here for extended periods of time and not committed a crime of moral turpitude or a felony. Those individuals can avoid deportation if they go through the naturalization process. That may sound like softening but it really isn’t. If they worked illegally, sometimes the Judge would require them to have an employer disclose and they would pay a tax bill.

So, build the wall first to stop more people coming in illegally (and those you deported) and second, follow the law.

PS: Remember, Hillary wants open borders and lots of refugee supporters – If she wins, kiss our country goodbye. End of story.

Rightly or wrongly, agree or disagree, like it or not, most Americans view anchor babies as legal citizens. Therefore, enforcing the law means they get to stay.

You may believe they’ll be sent back to a country they weren’t born in... I don’t. No matter who says otherwise. And their parents and foreign-born siblings get to stay, too.
