Obama uses the foolish Kurds to kill Christian civilians, Erdogan uses Obama to screw the Kurds, Assad helps Turkey kill and rout the Kurds with US "Advisors" among them, Russia sits back and laughs, and Assad will outlast Obama in office for sure.

The machinations are this: Iran and Turkey are in competition for the premier influence in the middle east or vis-a-vis the Caliphate.
