I wonder what the plan is for 840 miles of California coastline.

Maybe Trump could get some ideas from Israel:

If it’s a fence and not an actual wall, there is metal fence material whose openings are too small for toe or foot holds. Billowing razor wire should greet those few who scale its 40 feet. Perhaps a non-lethal electric current should also be present 24/7. The foundation must be deep and of reinforced concrete. It will be expensive, but don’t fret, Mexico will pay for it.

We need to be realists. You really dont think that a wall would do along the Rio Grande do you? Although not impossible, they would have to consider floods a all that, which weakens the foundations. Half that river is ours and there is no way possible to put the wall in the middle of that river.
Then comes the canyons and such.

To make a prefab concrete sheet about 35’ x 24’ at around 2’ thick would cost around 8k a sheet. The sheets alone would be about 2 million a mile. Probably about 4-5 million with labor and accessory items.
So if we tax Mexico at 10% of their remittances, we’d only get enough to build 500 miles or so of wall, a year.

Looks to me that the distance between Matamoros and Sinaola is about a thousand miles. ;-)
