None doesn't necessarily mean you don't believe in God. You just may not buy into whatever the organized religions pedal. I consider myself a reformed episcopalian but I still believe in God.

My dogtag said "no pref". If it came to that point, anyone could bless the mess as far as I was concerned. It came pretty close to that once..

Methinks a large percentage of those who mention science as their reason for abandoning religion could not pass a freshman level “Physics for Poets” course, let along a real STEM course.

And as an aside, a 100 % guarantee of science stupidity is provided by those who object to the “man” in “freshman”.

While I substantively agree with Brown in this and other articles, I will post this caveat:

Truth does not equal science; science does not equal truth.

Science is merely a methodology, a mechanism, a tool. It is not a god, much less the God.

Elsewhere, Brown recently cited the two Johns-Hopkins psychiatric experts who asserted a lack of scientific evidence to validate the concepts of sexual orientation or gender identity.

So what? Next year, some other so-called experts may interpret selected data to produce the opposite conclusion.

Science is done by human beings, and human beings are faddish and fickle. If you rely on so-called scientists to prove your faith, then you will be cheated.

The heavens declare the glory of God - whether or not scholars and experts do.
