Wallace asked Conway what or why do you think "the end of Clinton is in the new emails."

Conway said that Clinton did something she didn't think was possible, she made her trust problem even worse. Reports from AP and ABC and other entities that Clinton was doing pay for play. Wallace changes subject.

Next Trump, backing away from his immigration policy. Asks Conway to clear up.

Conway - build the wall, no amnesty, no sanctuary cities. Interrupt - Wallace asks about deportation force, all 11 million have to go. Conway says the softening is more approach than policy. He wants to find a fair and humane way to enforce the law with the same agencies. You are leaving the door open to people living in the country, not breaking laws other than being here illegally, you can stay. Conway says not exactly. And for those who are concerned about Trump's position, compare and contrast with Clinton. For sanctuary cities, catch and release. Give Trump credit for trying to address a tough issue.

Next line of question, "What do you ave to lose?" Wallace says Trump totally misrepresented the facts, black unemployment is 19%, not 56%. How can Trump address the problem if he doesn't understand what it is? Conway says 58% is the number of them not working (true, Wallace can;t argue that point, and voila, "not working" and "unemployed" are not the same thing). Wallace challenges that rump has not gone into inner city during his campaign? [My comment - Only tried once, Chicago, and it was cut off to curtail outbreak of riot.]

Wallace tries to make hay with the tweet "African Americans will now vote Trump" after shooting. Conway says she was glad that Trump expressed condolences. Conway says the campaign is going to continue to approach all people, this is an American election. Hillary missed opportunities and gave an insult laden speech. Wallace brings up that Trump hired Bannon - plays the same headlines.

Conway says she reports to Trump, not Bannon, and Hillary's speech was content free. Hillary is trying to divert attention from her trust issues by bringing up Trump's consultants.

Last questions on debate prep. Is he prepping, is Ingraham his foil ... Conway says Trump is not a conventional candidate, he will be prepared for the debates, unlike Hillary who will be crammed? Is he going to hold mock debates? Maybe. We appreciate insights from Laura Ingraham. The authentic Trump that you have seen is the one who will appear at debate. Unlike Clinton who has to memorize lines.

Conway did good. I didn't pick up any new angle of attack or defense.
