So on Meet the Press, now on cause Olympics are done....Reince Priebus is attempting to describe Trump’s immigration policy.

Priebus says Trump is going to be “human”, a word I translate as, possibly but I whisper, some form of amnesty.

So okay I been thinking about this. Last week I told the story of Beelow-guy who does my lawn from Ecuador, and his cute son Jaden or some such.

Now Beelow is an illegal, not sure how this son works out.

Once we get somebody elected who doesn’t think that never putting up a fence or vetting those who come into the country is how a country should be run, we are going to have to deal with the Beelows and Jadens of the country.

I am not convinced that sending Beelow and Jaden back to Ecuador solves anything. On the other hand, before screaming at me.....there’s got to be a way,.

How about this.....selective amnesty? Now in Beelows case he has a child born here in America so I don’t know how that works. But let us suppose that the new rule is round up EVERYBODY illegally here and send them home.

America would lose a good worker and law-abiding human in the form of Beelow. Not sure they could send his son away as he was born here in this country. And don’t tell me it was part of Beelow’s plan, this anchor baby thing. It probably was but nonetheless little Jaden was born in America through no fault of his own. Not sure deporting him is the fair thing. Then we get back to the argument about parents of anchor babies and so okay, it’s confusing.

Do NOT forget that WE allowed these people entry to our country, almost with open arms. Yes we should make it right but I am not sure that deporting Beelow, his wife probably and his American-born son is the way to go.

On the other hand, the Beelows of America need to know that they need to come forward, apply for citizenship, have no criminal activity on their record, then do whatever is decided to get legal citizenship, without deporting them.

anybody thinks we’re going to deport eleven million people, I got a bridge to sell.

BUT....but, but, but....if the Beelows of the world do not stand up and do what is required, ie come out of the shadow, apply for citizenship, pay taxes on their salary....THEN THEY ARE DEPORTED, along with their anchor babies, no questions, no doubts.

In other words, okay we did the stupid and let you in. But you’re either going to do it my way or take the highway.

I think Trump is struggling with this dilemma but guys, I think he has the answer.

Because there IS an answer.

More on this later.

When I was a young boy, I was aware extended family members would come for a visit from Communist East Europe.
They would come for a three month stay.
Somehow, they always picked up cash work, like picking worms.
Then, they WENT HOME with cash in their pocket to buy some luxuries.

Also, we had what were called the Mexican Mennonities. They would come up to work the harvest, THEN GO BACK HOME.

This work is open to everyone, but people cannot raise a family on brief spurts of seasonal work. For those from other countries, their per unit of labor earnings has enormous purchasing power in their home country.

For us, the benefit is reversed, we can vacation in their country at a much lower cost than Japan or Germany

First, I think you meant "humane". Second, he will not only send back the illegal, but his whole family. That would be humane. Don't break up the family!

Your Beelow situation is a classic macro/micro dilemma. On the macro level, we must have borders or we are not a nation. On the micro level, you feel for Beelow.

Society’s standards must be based upon the macro view, because once we set the micro view (individual exceptions) as the standard, we end up with NO standards.
