A group of Indian Americans against Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., was at the New York City India Day Parade Aug. 21 to hand out flyers against the presidential hopeful.

Citing a deep concern of Hillary and former President Bill Clinton’s persistent anti-India record during the past 25 years, the group passed out about 800 of the flyers while asking Indian Americans to support Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump....

“As senator, Hillary voted against the India nuclear deal (former President George W.) Bush set up and funded NGOs in India to unearth mass graves under the 'Get Modi' policy,” the group added in an emailed statement. “When she became secretary of state, one of the first things she said was Pakistan should get the same deal, ignoring that Pakistan has been the aggressor and sponsor of terrorism against India during the last 60 years,” it added...

I realize not all Indians are Hindu, but somewhat related thread (article from India.com’s The American Bazaar) and parade was in NY and the rally will be in NJ:

I too... love Indian food... especially the vindaloo(s)...

The location the parade was held is near a strip of Indian Restaurants... (Lexington between 26th and 28th)that I have frequented...

FWIW, the park to the left in the pictures.... is Madison Square Park... which hosts in June the Great American BBQ... where Pit Masters from all over the country come to compete for a weekend... another one of my favorite foods...!

Remember when Hillary made the racist comment about all the Indians working at 7/11?

OMG I would have eaten my way thru that festival ALL DAY!!

I have a good Hindu friend. Because her Indian friends in America are originally from both north and south in India, whenever she has a large party, she cooks both the mild and the hot'n'spicy cuisines. It's really a treat.

Thanks for that link. I put it on last night's Make America Great Again ping list. The MAGA list summarizes the day's Trump articles twice a day, and includes a different news photo or illustration each time.

Do they celebrate America Day in India?

Post 20 explains it well.

Those case are horrific. Yet they were hardly mentioned by MSM while there is extensive agonizing about minor comments by Trump - or him not making a comment - or some other trivial story.

It used to be that people were admitted to America at a rate that could be assimilated and based on a formula that would maintain the makeup of America that had been so successful.

But now we have people who never intended to assimilate but only want to reproduce their dysfunctional cultures of origin while enjoying running water and electricity. Hence Balkanization.

And Teddy the Whale, interested in sticking it to the WASPs who hadn’t welcomed his Irish ancestors to the new world with open arms, was the architect of that 1965 policy.

Thanks Teddy I know your brothers must be so proud.

That’s interesting. The few Indians I know are all northern and are quite dismissive of southern Indian cooking, i.e. “Chennai Cafe is South Indian, I would never eat there!” Your friend must be quite gracious. :)

Ooooh yeah, love the vindaloo! And BBQ!!!

Blessed to live in a Southern state with a burgeoning Indian population. :)
