No. Mid sixties had a commie scare, who were atheist. They had a 'purge' of commies. Now everyone has to have a 'religion'. Depending on the region, the higher the amounts of Catholics and such. Around Timor has the higher amounts of Catholics.

Christians do very well in the military, it is one of the places where you will see them attain high ranks. Usually their names are the give away.
