#4 buck, mag full.
If you are going to shoot, it is because you fear for your or your loved ones lives. Always shoot to kill.
Always shoot to kill.
Just don’t say that out loud. Even in Texas, after a self defense shooting, that little statement can still get you convicted, made the target of a wrongful death suit by an ambulance chaser, or both.
Remember the seven magic words:
“I was in fear for my life”
And the other seven magic words:
“I need to talk to my lawyer”
Slight disagreement: Always shoot to end the threat — and after your lawyer shows up make sure that’s what he or she says.
Don’t say ANYTHING (except legally required information about identification) until you have a lawyer present. Then let him or her do the talking. I know, everyone hates lawyers, but it’s a funny thing: most people don’t hate THEIR lawyer, esp. if he or she is good.
If you happen to kill the vermin in the process, oh well...
Absolutely.
(...and don't forget to "lose" that phony 3-round restrictor in the magazine)
