Either tape only those games of interest, and then FF thru to the scores and the ending of close games. FF thru ALL commercials, not looking at all, hitting the MUTE button, or
Just not watch at all
I’ve hardly watched a SB in two decades and never the halftime “show” and never from KO to finish.
Oh yeah, and I don’t buy gear either. Besides, the game bores me. Can’t handle those FG battles.
I’ll tape the jets and FF through commercials. In about 5 games, when their season’s over, I’ll stop watching.
The bottom line is, the players making these protests are spitting in our faces. They think they’re more important than the loyal fans. We should show them they have to toe the line like everybody else in society has to do. There are norms of behavior and just because you want to spit in everyone’s face and make people listen to you in a venue where they only want to watch football, you shouldn’t be given the freedom to do so. Too many people have been fired, fined and had their lives destroyed for tweeting a dumb tweet. My point is, fire these players’ bleeping butts and let them stand on a street corner with a sign if they want to send America a message. I don’t want to see this sh** on my TV screen at the next game I watch on TV.
I gave up on pro sports years ago.
High school is about as far as I will go.
However, having said that, I am very interested in following the Lingerie Football League. Something about athletic women in pads and garter belts playing full contact football that appeals to my baser nature. It is also very possibly the best return on your sporting buck!
