I'd be more interested in the reverse, as the War on Drugs ostensibly is rooted in the absolutely terrible Wickard case and uses congress's power over interstate commerce… except Raich revealed that commerce isn't required.

I think that the War on Drugs, just like the Federal Reserve raises interesting 'answers' to the question by what authority?, as they usually tend to be (a) circular reasoning or (b) appeal to [illegitimate] authority when pursued enough.
