While the Mexican president spoke there were no interruptions, no translations in English but I cant make out what Trump is saying because his voice is overlaid with a female jabbering loudly in Spanish...

Absolutely he would. It would be insulting to not. Trump would not be that undignified. It would be embarrassing for this country. His chief of protocol instructs him on what the protocol is. And of course he would observe protocol. He would look common and coarse if he did not. He knows better.

Wife has a co-worker who immigrated from Columbia. She works at a hospital part time because she can speak 7 languages fluently. Cant speak or understand the native Mexicans. She said she can pick out certain words to put it all together, but she said its impossible to understand the slang.
The same is true north of our border with the French Canadians. The French from France cant understand them and actually absolutly cant stand them.
My best friend is of Belgian descent. There are some 8 or 9 different dialects of the language there-some based on French, other Luxemburg and French mixed.
I dont know how the hell they get anything done.
