Sweet heart!
A great story! What a wonderful role model. As a special needs teacher I am disgusted to find out that this boy eats alone almost every day. Are you kidding me? The teacher is not doing his/ her job......no child should eat alone.
I wonder if Rush will spend a couple of days talking about this.
This is a time to praise a human being for being nice to another human being. Nothing more; nothing less.

Nice...Travis, you are an above average FSU player....
I'm very impressed with Mr. Rudolph. This young man is going places.
Great story! Thanks for posting.
What a good guy! He’ll likely go far with that quality of character combined with athletic ability.
Great story. A true gentleman. We need more like him.
There are degrees of autism, I've heard, and not all autistic kids are comfortable with too much company or attention. If any of you know different, I'm listening.
Try a Google search. The story has been in Sports Illustrated, local Orlando media, ESPN, NFL.com, Fox Sports, Esquire, 247 Sports, Huffington Post, and dozens of other outlets.
I have 2 autistic boys in my class & we have more in the school. For some autistic kids the stimulation of sitting w/ lots of people is overwhelming as is the noise. If he is in school it does seem like something could be done to include him, that is an important part of socialization skills. One of my students is non verbal autistic & he is fine in our little crew. He makes noises or is silent. Something just struck me the wrong way, especially when the mom expressed sadness that he eats alone. That tells me that he could& should be w/ a group or just 1 or 2 kids.
I could be wrong. I am basing this on the articles and my knowledge of special needs kids.
I misread the post. I thought the writer was saying the player was a Gator
my error
Of course
I misread what you wrote. My error
