All the media attention about this story has masked the fact that he simply isn't a very good quarterback. Sadly, he has ended up like Kordell Stewart and Michael Vick and Vince Young and all the other "all-around athletes" NFL teams have tried to mold into quarterbacks. I think Kaepernick had more talent than any of them, but his head got in the way.
Let the Blaine Gabbert era begin. But I'm finally switching my loyalty to the Cardinals, anyway - after 35 years. :)

It’s not just the player or the team, it’s the whole NFL.
The whole league must be punished. Has the NFL condemned such action?
I don’t plan on watching any game. Sports has become the real opiates of the masses. Yes many of us are hooked on it. Time to kick this bad habit.

Good job Kap, you roided up dolt! Go to the next BLM rally and ask the loudest protestor these questions; How many children do you have? Are you in a committed relationship with a single one of their mothers? Do you know anything about the education of one of your multiple kids?
If the individual was a critical thinker he would then understand who is responsible for the plight of blacks in America.

This pic is dated 2014. He's been disrespecting the flag long before he got caught and had to make up the BLM oppression excuse.

They won't buy out his contract -- at least not this year.
The most financially prudent approach for the 49ers is this:
1. Keep him on the roster and pay what they owe him this year.
2. Buy his contract out after the season and walk away from him.
Oddly enough, their biggest risk in this scenario is that he gets injured, which means they can't just buy him out after the season ends. So the best scenario for the team is that they keep him on the roster for this season but never allow him to play in a game.
The guy is basically as worthless as a Styrofoam coffee cup at this point. I'm sure he knows this, which is why he needs to get his 15 minutes of fame while he still has a national platform for his idiocy.

[Does someone have a list of the companies that he represents so that I can boycott?]
I already wrote to Nike saying I will never buy any of their products again until they publically denounce Kapernick and pull any endorsement deals they have with him.

They’re too busy interviewing James Harrison about non-existent PED use.

I spy on his helmet a US flag. He should return the helmet and keep walking.

regarding injury
I suspect he will have a broken leg or arm or neck in his first game

Larry Fitzgerald only played a couple of seasons of college ball at Pitt. Yet all these years later he is still highly regarded in this town. Definitely left his mark on the community.

That’s why he won’t be playing. If he ends the season as an injured player then they can’t cut him after the season.

Become a Jets fan?? Let’s not get too carried away.
I have yet to talk to another 49ers fans who supports this clown. Sit, Kaep, for the rest of the season as far as I care.

I believe much of his problem is not knowing where he fits. He certainly doesn't look black but he's trying overly hard to fit in. There's no denying his athletic ability but he's an idiot. I believe he's got obama-syndrome. He wants so hard to fit in but doesn't. Wants everyone, including his hot muzzie girlfriend, to think he's somewhat intellectual and has got swagger and street cred.
