On Wednesday, Sept. 7, NBC News and MSNBC — along with the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America — will host the “The Commander-in-Chief Forum” in New York City.
It will be one-hour forum where Clinton and Trump will answer questions about national security, military affairs and veterans issues in front of an audience mainly made up of members of the military. The two candidates will not be on the stage at the same time, but will instead go back to back.
It’s worth nothing that Lauer is listed as a “notable past member” on the Clinton Global Initiative’s website — along with Anderson Cooper and Katie Couric.
In the past, a Clinton Foundation official has said that the journalists who are part of the foundation were never asked to pay the $20,000 member fee.
“In fact, in 2012, we reclassified members of the media who participate as ‘guests’ rather than ‘members’ to acknowledge this distinction,” the official has said.

It said they won’t be on stage together, but presented “back to back”. But it’s still wrong.
Protest all you want, but it’s a rigged system and the riggers could care about as much about our protests as we do when they protest Trump.
Lauer is a self proclaimed socialist.

OK, how about someone from Fox News? Someone like, oh I don't know, Megan Kelly?
That should disqualify the little cueball...but it won't.
My guess is they want Trump to refuse so that Hillary will then have an excuse to back out of the real debates.

This isn’t a debate if they won’t be on the stage together. I hope it’s not counted as a debate. Otherwise, they would have Trump first then Hillary and buddy Matt lying about him afterwards when he can’t defend himself.

Wow. If Trump agrees to this he is an idiot and a damn fool.
If not Matt, then who? We don’t have very many reliably conservative choices out there, at least few who are Nationally known interviewers. Many of the Fox people I used to presume were conservative have changed in my opinion, or I’m just now seeing their true faces.
