This is really not about football, or even about these two idiots. It’s about how nations die. We saw much the same in Yugoslavia. Tribe above country.

Agree. The fans of America need to do the right thing. Hit them in the pocketbook, and boo them off the bench.

Another marginal player with an unearned big bucks contract. It looks like a set up to me for negotiating contracts. These Jagovs have no history of activism.

To: 11th_VA; All

NFL has all kind of ‘off the field’ requirements for players (no drugs, no crimes, etc.).

Just put it in the damn contracts, “Must stand for National Anthem.”

It’ll spread though unless the lead mans up and starts fining and suspending players.

I’d also like to see some ‘back the blue’ stickers appear on helmets. Challenge the league to fine you since they told Dallas ‘no’ already.

Would they dare fine ‘back the blue’ while letting other players sit during the Anthem?

Be a terrible PR move.

This will also be an issue with college players as well. The BLM campus groups realize thanks to Missouri that they need to guilt trip the black players to ‘don’t be no Uncle Toms’ and ‘stick it up the man’ by protesting.

People need to go watch some small college or small high school football games. It's a lot less expensive, it's safer than an NFL crowd, and the football is actually more entertaining. Often, a JV high school football game are very entertaining - you never know what you might see.

The NFL is crap.

Didn't Phil Mickelson sit for the National Anthem with his wife
and kids after winning the US Open?

Wait. No. That was the PGA. Sorry. Those are American men in the PGA.

MANAGEMENT should nip this in the bud right now. No respect or manners, go sit in the locker room. Huge fine for sitting in the locker room. Hit them ALL in the pocket book. These fools are ruining the brand... Don't spend a nickel on their souvenirs, jerseys, or anything that brings them revenue.

Or let them sit in the locker room for the game.

Suspend them a couple of games and cut their pay, too.

See what happens then.

Agreed. Only a massive financial boycott of the NFL and its sponsors will force the league to put a stop to this. It would be nice if some big named conservatives and patriots push a NFL boycott to give it a chance to succeed!
