I lived and worked in Mexico at the beginning of my career. Loved the country, the people, the culture. Was offered a permanent position. Tempting, but couldn’t do it for one key reason: the absolutely endemic corruption. From the “policeman” on the corner shaking you down for an illusory infraction right up to the president, corruption and deceit were ingrained.
A person would have to be dangerously naive to take as gospel the word of the Mexican president. Enter Hillary Clinton. Morning Joe today aired her latest ad in which she claims that Donald Trump was caught “lying” when he said he and Mexican President Peña Nieto didn’t discuss payment for the wall during their meeting this week. Hillary’s proof? A subsequent statement by the Mex prez that he was “clear and emphatic” that Mexico won’t pay for the wall. What other statements by what other Third World leaders will Hillary—naively and uncritically—take at face value?

Just because Mehico won’t pay for the wall, doesn’t mean they won’t be charged for it, and the amount “garnished” by the payee.

If Trump say, “Mexico will pay for you wall” you can take it to the bank that Mexico will pay for the wall.
Hillary’s not naive. But her supporters certainly are.
Hillary doesn’t understand that I don’t really care so much who pays for the wall, as much as there is a wall. I think Trump trumped both Nieto and HRC by getting them to admit that a wall can and will be built! The art of the deal.
Trump replied to a question at the press conference that they did not discuss the wall. I take this to mean Trump did not bring the matter up - in true negotiator fashion - and Nieto was grandstanding. Contrary to popular beliefs Trump is not easily goaded. The appearance of Trump sputtering is pure tactics. Note especially in this regard Trump’s continued use of arm flailing whenever discussing someone who is flustered. Does anyone honestly believe this man would deliberately and shamefully mock a disability?

Add some semi-colons and you’ve got your answer in one sentence. She’s all that.....and more.

Trump is a business man, he knows how to make the best deals, he wouldn't be in the business world as a World Known Business man if he didn't know what to do...
He was just appointed the next POTUS on that day in Mexico...even the President of Mexico can agree on that...
The only ones that didn't like Trump's Business Man ethics are the never trumpers and the DNC and RINOs, to bad Ted Cruz if you would have been honest and a Natural Born Citizen of America, maybe you would have had some honor but all you have now are crumbs and they are even disappearing rapidly...

Democrats and the Mexican government don’t seem to live in a world we call “supply & demand”. The USA has the supply and Mexico does not. How hard would it be to stick “toll booths” up and how hard could it be to charge a fee for every money order sent to Mexico. How many other ways to build the wall would be simple. Hell is Mexico was smart they should build it using low cost labor.
Alas, Mexico will fight “the imperialist gringo” every inch of the way.

I am too busy right now to search for a source of the exact quote, so would appreciate if someone has it. However even if Trump said that they “did not discuss paying for the wall”, I believe Louis Foxwell’s point is still valid.
President Niente (or whatever his name is) probably took a moment to grandstand and “emphatically said Mexico will not pay for the wall”, without any provocation or reason from Trump. That is, Trump probably said nothing about the wall, either who will pay for it or even building it, but at some point during their conversation the Mexican president blurted out “we will not pay for the wall”. Trump probably still said nothing at that point and moved on.
So it’s entirely reasonable, IMO, to believe what Louis Foxwell said is correct. That Trump wasn’t the one to bring it up nor was it a focus of their conversation. To answer his question directly, No, I don’t believe Trump would mock a disabled person. I do believe he is more savvy than he appears on television. And thus, it wasn’t him that brought up the wall, and I can believe he didn’t even talk about it any more when the Mexican president brought it up. So he tells the truth when he says they “didn’t discuss the wall” or even if he said “didn’t discuss paying for the wall”.
You need to have two people for a “discussion”. And I can see Trump just letting the Mexican president’s grandstanding slide, giving it the attention and consideration it deserves. Which is nothing.
Another example of Clinton’s “blame America first” point of view. She will always take the side of the non-USofA person over the citizen. She does it on importing Muslims, she does it on trade, she does it on the border issues, she does it on healthcare.
