In a classified document, while the upper and lower marking could be Confidential, Secret, Top Secret, etc., individual paragraphs within the document have a marking at the beginning of each paragraph. (C) means classified, (U) Mean Unclassified, (FOUO) is For Official Use Only....there may be more, but those are what I've seen.....

It’s been 22 years since I worked in the classified world, but at the time, the markings to the left of each paragraph, included the designations I mentioned above - ie (C) was for Confidential. It may be different in the Intel world. My work was with a DoD contractor and was for military applications - not Intel.
