The bible tells about God putting a "veil" over the minds of those who indulge in evil in the end days. Blurring the edges of truth, IMHO, as well as destroying logical thinking in the schools, comprises a great deal of that veil.
And Hollywood exploits and reinforces all of it - Hollywood is The Great Magnifier.
