the gang-bangers moving in from L.A. to Denver started up this kind of mayhem about 20 years ago in Denver and the city decided it wasn’t going to let that happen, so the criminal justice system was instructed to focus major resources against the L.A. gangs, and the gang leaders were convicted of first degree murder, locked up in the state pen and the keys thrown away. End of gang wars. Problem solved. Word got out that there was no percentage in conducting gang wars in Denver.
The drug dealers need a Duterte-ent.
Seriously, most of the moral and economic problems of Chicago are the result of failed Democratic Party policies.
But, it is hard to say no to Santa.
Chicago knows the solution, but is just unwilling to do what it takes.
In engineering the first thing you do is define the problem. The problem is not murders. Those are the result of the problem. The problem is multi-generational. It didn’t start yesterday; it took decades to evolve. The problem is feral black kids raised with no father and a welfare mother who was more interested in drugs and having more kids so she could get more welfare than in having a family and raising successful kids.
They won’t solve this one with midnight basketball or another social program. They would need to cancel the incentives that produce fatherless kids. Those incentives are what keeps the Democratic party alive so if they cancel those they also cancel their keys to power.
My prediction is a plethora of giveaways and feel-good quick answers followed by a change in the reporting system. From now on they only report murders occurring on a Monday during a full moon when Hillary Clinton isn’t lying about something.
