Never having attended medical school...and never having had a cough like hers...I'm no expert here but IIRC there are certain narcotic cough medications that do a good job at suppressing a cough.However,narcotics can make the typical person sleepy.Assuming that narcotics are the *only* things that effectively control coughs tonight just might be kinda fun.Perhaps even a replay of Comrade Justice Ginsburg falling asleep at the State of the Union.
