He can still do that and that will force her to go on TV and try to refute what he’s said. That’s when she can blow a gasket. He did the right thing.
Not the right goal. Hillary is already unpopular and making her more unpopular should not be his end. He just needs to dispell the narrative of him being a bigot for the low info folks.
