I can remember the first time I heard Beck on the radio, mid-2000’s? I laughed and laughed. It was GOOD radio. It lasted for awhile, but he ran his own ship into the iceberg. I think it started with his big build-up thing in 2010 I think. Was that The Blaze TV Network? That was a disappointment at the time and still is.

2004-2010 were Beck’s golden years.

Genuinely funny radio, and a killer TV show. The guy was at the top and could have created something incredible from it.

Then he snapped, and became a nut.

I liked the fresh cleverness of Beck back then too. He had a great bunch of writers knocking out all sorts of pieces for him.

Once he started to become preachy, shortly after he changed his radio intro theme song, iirc, I lost interest.
