I’ve long said that there was a certain amount of artificial angst from some of the provacatures of the right. Rush has finally touched on it. That was apparent to me when many of the issues that had conservatives wringing their hands in the 90s (remember the land grabs that took natural resources out of pla6) yet none of it was overturned by Bush. That’s when my eyes opened on faux outrage.

Maybe he’s noticed that so many of his listeners have switched to Jeff Kuhner at noon.

I agree, he was telling it like it is. It’s Trump or die!

The Democrat Left want to do with Socialism what the Communist failed to do. Both are on the same page and if they succeed, America will fail like Communism did and go into the ash can of history.

The canary in the coal mine will be when they take down the Free Republic soon as Hillary gets elected to office.

The concept of repentance can emerge in various forms. It has great value in our society.

That article was posted here on FR yesterday.

And indeed, we thought it was an excellent piece (well, at least those who actually READ it). Not surprised to see Rush similarly impressed.

Rush may not be a “convert” to the very real objectives of “Trumpism”, but he is no fool, or at least not a complete fool.

The Donald is no conservative, that much was clear from the start, and he has no dedication to the pure motives that are so often ballyhooed by its highest priests. But he is good at practical matters, and he is willing to take the structure of what the nation is, right now, and remold it into something just a little more accommodating to the spirit within every human to be somehow free and able to exercise that free will. You may be sure that at no time would Herself, Madame Benghazi, the Cold & Joyless, ever have any such motives or ambitions, as Herself is determined to fulfill the agenda already set, apparently in stone, that is the handiwork of George Soros.

Given the binary choice we now face, even the most intellectual of conservatives has to ask himself (or herself), what would be the socially redeeming qualities that The Donald have to adopt to please them, that are even possible, given the social background of much of that territory once known as “the United States of America”?

We cannot wave a wand and suddenly have well-informed citizens in the overwhelming majority, and thus have all the idealistic programs of the intellectual conservatives adopted. It will have to be one small rollback after another, over perhaps decades, to achieve that more balanced public consisting of people who enjoy and are determined to live up to the “American spirit”.

That's who I listen to now...and really enjoy his show...

The only other person I listen to on the radio is Sean Hannity...he has been fair, while the primaries were on, he would let any one of them on his show, treated them fair and square...the only time he raised his voice was the night Cruz tried to lie to him...then that was it, he was done, when Trump took the nomination, Hannity has come out for Trump and he'll tear you apart if you try to take Trump down, and that is the way it should be...

I remember many years ago, Rush was saying something about JFK and this lady called in and have him a chewing out like I have never heard before or since...John F. Kennedy was the best thing that has ever happened to this country, oh boy she didn't come up for air for a good 10 minutes...the only thing Rush said was ‘Well there you have it’...

That is the way we need to be with Trump and the Trump supporters are that way, I run into a guy at wally world the other day and he was downing Trump, I'm not shy and especially since I'm working my butt off for this man, and I let him have it and about 8 people applauded, the guy didn't know what to do, he probably just soiled his ‘magic underwear’....

You hear the Dems do this, they circle the wagons with their people, not the pubbies, heck they go hide in their closets until it's safe to come out...it's about time this attitude stops and we get Trump and Pence in the Oval Office and turn this country around, or WE ARE GOING TO HAVE ONE!!!

I seem to remember that a whole lot of the folks here wrote Rush off because he didn't come down wholeheartedly for Trump from the beginning."Rush is dead to me," I believe I saw that statement here more than a few times. Well, Rush didn't pick a winner. He let the primaries do that. He, like many many of us was probably hoping Cruz could win it from the first but Trump won it and some ramifications of having Trump vs any of the others finally became apparent. Trump is the only one of them who can turn this thing around. Perhaps he will succeed. Perhaps he won't. I am betting he can put off the totalitarian Beast for a few more years, at least. He is the only one of them who might be able to identify and effectively fight the vote manipulation that is going to be a major part of this election. All others of them would adhere to the legal forswearing of of legally challenging rigged results to which the Republican Party has bound itself.

Another Jeff Kuhner & Brittany listener.

I left RushRINO years ago - just another GOP-Establishmentarian not unlike Levin.

Me thinks audience began shrinking so they changed their schtick.
