Sneeze in a bank and SWAT surrounds you, but these bastards created thousands of fraudulent accounts to steal depositor money. Wells Fargo should be shut down under RICO laws and their management jailed for life.

I would guess ‘fired’ is the first of about a hundred painful steps for WF.
I’ve received a lot of CC offers from them but never even glanced at the names, so I don’t know if I was somehow included.
First thing I do is sort the mail with the idea of just as much as possible goes into the trash bin just inside the back door before it gets any further into the house. That’s at least 75% of it.
Well, I don’t think they did it to steal depositor money exactly, they were trying to hit their monthly quotas for opening new accounts. It’s why they are so hard sell in those places.
Perhaps Warren Buffet was not aware of what was going on till he ended up with one of the phony accounts
It's ALWAYS the same.
They'll be fined and sign a plea deal of "no wrongdoing"... then move on to the next scam - rinse and repeat.
