I’ve met quite a few ATF agents here in DC and for the most part they’re good, smart people. They are the first to tell you their agency is FUBAR.
One thing they are very clear on is “It’s not just people and drugs pouring over the border, it’s guns.”
If you want to silence a yappy anti-gun liberal, tell em that fact and enjoy the deer in the headlights stare!

It’s hard to do a good job busting bad guys when the boss wants you to have high profile busts of FFLs to spin a narrative that makes his bosses look good.
The AtF needs an ideological purge of everyone not cut from good clothe in their management.
