I know about the conveys into Syria and even those weird transportable medical labs we found.
Probably nothing good in any of that but first, they really never proved anything, a fact I find hard to believe.
Point is, there simply was NOT widespread presence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and I kind of think we would have found something. I don’t think anybody really KNEW there were weapons but let us not forget how Saddam intentionally WANTED the world to believe he had WMD’s.
And maybe he had some but moving on, more than anything, with America having been attacked and a wild card like Saddam, a man so disliked by his own people THAT THEY HUNG HIM.....it was best that he be taken down what with the 9-11 attacks being a good reason.
Taking down Saddam Hussein was not a dumb thing to do. Pulling out and leaving immature and scarcely trained soldiers to defend themselves WAS A DUMB THING TO DO!
then Obama gives neighboring enemy Iran all kinds of money and of course Iraq’s going down.
But because Saddam was any kind of good guy, not that the world is not better without him, not even because the Iraqis are helpless stupid people. The Iraq was should have been eminently successful but it was not because the concept of bringing down Saddam was a bad idea.
I wish someone would stop treating us like we were all born at night....only not LAST NIGHT!
There were reposts of large convoys of Semis going to Syria when it was evident the US was going to go to war with Iraq.
It was reposted that the trucks contained WMDs and large amounts of cash in US dollars.
It’s my opinion that in the long delay the dems caused before we could go to Iraq that these convoys moved most of the WMDs that Saddam had to Syria.
He certainly had WMDs, after all he used WMD type gas to kill the Kurds some time before.
He also tried to use it against our troops, but a sudden shift in the winds sent it back to Saddam’s troops.
In an area where the wind consistently blew in one direction only.
The shift in wind was attributed to the power of God.
regime change is tricky...that’s true, but when we try to make any mideast Muslim country a Jeffersonian democracy, that’s where we screwed up.
Unfortunately it just doesn’t work with the mideast centuries Sunni-Shia battling each other.
I only recently got this. ha.
MOST of our politicians still haven’t figured out the Muslim ideology of jhihad.
