I dealt with this last night. No switch out is possible, as early voting has started. That’s just one of TEN reasons I gave

Obama could declare a national emergency.

What does the Constitution say about this subject?

Remember, there are other candidates on the ticket, as well. So what is the Democratic candidate kicks the bucket.

Don’t put anything past Obambi

RE: Your point No. 2 - “In all the states the ballots are already printed:

In my state, the ballot does not “print” until I hit the button on the touch screen; before that, there’s nothing but disorganized LEDs...

I specifically said way back in the middle of August that the Democrats MUST have a replacement for Hillary ready to go by the end of August 2016 if her health issues continue. But it's now September 12, 2016, and the Democratic National Committee is facing a PR and political disaster that may have no precedent in American history.

“No switch out is possible, as early voting has started”

The president is elected by the electoral college. The early voting that you are talking about is governed by rules that can be changed.

If Hillary decides o drop out, the DNC can nominate anyone else. The only catch is that she can’t be forced out. But with her health in bad shape and sinking in the polls why stay? A graceful exit might be her best option.

I think you left out two, maybe three reasons:

Reason 11:
If they replace PIAPS then the DNC has no claim on the money the she raised for her campaign (100 million +) That money would, as far as I could find out and I did try and research it today, fall under the rules for left over campaign contributions. That means She could
1. Donate it to Charity (The Clinton Foundation?)
2. Give up to $2000 to another political campaign
3. Save it for a future run for another office.

If they force her out do you really think that PIAPS would voluntarily turn the money over to the DNC. I belove it would go to the Clinton foundation and Chelsea would get very large year end bonus.

Slow Joe would have to start fund raising from scratch. That means he’d be sunk before he started

Reason 12:
PIAPS largest support group come from loney, immoral, unmarried Caucasian women who despite possibly having university degrees process below normal intelligence. I call this the nutty-sl*t vote. If the DNC replaces PIAPS with Slow Joe the nutty-sl*ts will all vote for Jill Stein simply because she has female genitalia or they’ll stay home. They’ll cry “Patrimony. The DNC are afraid of a woman president! Their anti-woman!” The democrats can’t win if they lose 1/2 the nutty-sl*t vote.

Reason #13
I think that there is a slight chance (15% maybe) given how vindictive, petty and mean PIAPS has shown herself to be that if she is replaced against her will she might give Donald Trump her endorsement saying she regrets how her party has been taken over by insiders with an agenda hurtful to the election process. She could take down the entire party out of spite. That would give her very unique and notable place in US History and might redeem her standing with conservatives.
