That’s how it was with my ex and I,one young adult still at home and the others living on their own.
It remained civil to this day and the grandchildren are now grown up.
Worst 3 months of my life beginning October 10, 2011..Began with then wife saying on her birthday, “I love you but I am not in love with you...” spiel. I slept in the guest room, while I got my own place, got finances in order and we went through some fruitless counseling. 5 years later, ex-wife in another marriage and we are good friends. Child support ended in August and that added serious bank to my monthly income, have a great, smoking hot strawberry blonde GF and career going well.
