Exactly right. I had pneumonia and could barely sit up. Even after I was released from the hospital (after 5 days) I was still coughing like I was going to cough up a lung and did that for weeks afterwards. You don’t get over it in a few days.
And you don’t get better, then worse, then better, then worse.
