From Hillary’s Cold, Dead Hands
American Thinker ^ | September 14, 2016 | J. Robert Smith

We recall with great fondness the late Chuck Heston’s famous words at the 2000 NRA convention. Speaking beyond the audience to the perpetually scowling Al Gore, then the Democratic nominee for president, Heston cried: “From my cold, dead hands,” as he hoisted a musket into the air.

Such is the sensible application of Heston’s declaration. “Don’t touch my freedom, Al,” was Heston’s point, “and that includes my right to bear arms.”

But such words or sentiment in the hands of a venal or narcissistic person can take on a sinister cast. Here, we conjure Hillary Clinton, perhaps the most flawed and foul presidential nominee in the republic’s history, whose adult existence – along with partner in crime life, Bill – has been one, big self-serving spree.

Bill rivals his bride in the “flawed and foul” sweepstakes, but his artfulness and political skills elevated him to the presidency (along with good luck). It’s looking less and less like Hillary’s making that leap. But throughout their careers, in words and deeds, Bill and Hill have declared: “From my cold, dead hands you’ll take our power and prerogatives.” That spells huge trouble for the Democratic Party heading into November.

Thus whatever the machinations among Democratic bigwigs and high-dollar donors are to engineer Hillary out of the Democratic nomination and the put Tim Kaine or Joe “You Own Obama’s Eight Years” Biden into it, short of incapacitation or death, the likelihood that the tenaciously selfish Clintons will ride off into the sunset without an epic fight is scant.

And we now have reports that Bubba has instructed his legal team to prevent the possibility of having Illary replaced on the ballot.

There are some deep seated divisions and hard feelings that have yet to heal with the DNC. With Colin Powell expressing what Illary thinks of Obama, I wonder how much campaigning they will do to support her sick candidacy.

Heston cried: “From my cold, dead hands,” as he hoisted a musket into the air.

Notice it was a Musket NOT an M 16 Black Rifle

First thing I noticed and indicates they were hollow words

Sociopath grifters... for the Clintons, its all about power, money and fame.

Whether others benefit from or are hurt by their machinations is of no concern to them.

Democrats used them as much they used Democrats.

Now this unholy alliance is crashing down to earth, none too soon.

It was a direct challenge to Gore and was hardly hollow. Heston didn’t indulge in hollow words. The musket was a symbol for all guns. At the time, in addition to “assault” rifles, there was considerable pressure on hand guns, gun locks making use virtually impossible in an emergency, ammunition limitations, etc.

The first time he said that, the musket had just been presented to him. In 2000, I think.

You're reading too much into this.

He should have held up at least a Beretta M9 in one hand and an M16 in the other if it was serious

Hillary to DNC: "You'll take the nomination from me when you pry it from my cold dead hands!!

DNC: "So...what you're saying Hillary is we can have it any day now?"

I predict either an Arkancide or a reverse-Arkancide is in the offing!

You are correct.

You're reading too much into this.

You are again correct...

It was reported this morning that Bill already has lawyers looking into how to prevent the DNC from taking the nomination away from Hillary.

If Hillary had to step down, Michelle would be the obvious replacement. After all, the country loves her. Or at least the MSM thinks it does.

If not Michelle, the only living former First Lady who is a Democrat is Roslyn Carter, and she is a bit too old. So they might have to turn to would-be First Ladies--Tipper Gore or Kitty Dukakis. Kerry's wife is not eligible. Is Mrs. Mondale still alive?

Too much work for her. Colin Powell, maybe. He's bought and paid for.

Al Gore might just be interested.

John Kerry too.

Biden wouldn't do. He's had more brain afflictions than Illary.

“Michelle would be the obvious replacement. After all, the country loves her. Or at least the MSM thinks it does.”

That would explain Obama’s unusual level of campaigning for Hillary.

The dims are where we were with Romney..only worse.
Even if you are a loony leftist you can not deny, unless maybe you are in complete denial or living under a bridge, there is something seriously wrong with half dead hillary!
Unlike the Right leaning folks dims would vote for dead hillary and the dead will vote for her as well..and the illegals and of course voter fraud...so who knows.

If half dead hillary does somehow “win” then we know the dims can run anybody...ANYBODY..and win.

Exactly, and that is why they are using fraud. They know without it they cannot win an election.

You might be surprised.

I saw a comment on a news site yesterday saying that Hillary is a true super-woman and it is not surprising she needs a little rest because a campaign schedule is more demanding than most of us can even imagine. The first response to this fairly lengthy gush about Hillary's impeccable qualifications and stamina was another woman saying that she seriously doubts that Hillary's schedule is more demanding than chasing around a couple of toddlers all day while trying to do the laundry, cook dinner, clean the house, and working, like most women do.
