Reading to the end of the article, it looks like it was written by Todd Starnes.
Our local talk radio station features quotes by him from time to time and I usually feel that he is spot on.

Don’t know a lot about Todd, but have seen things written by him from time to time, and IIRC have seen him on Fox once in awhile. Seems to be a good Christian (I think he covers some Christian news or includes same in his writing - correct me if I’m wrong on that). He also seems to be pro-Trump (in a non-obvious sort of way).
