Given I’ve had to watch my weight my whole life to stay at a good weight, I try to be careful about saying anything about another person’s weight as I know it’s not easy for most people. That said, to compare Trump with Taft is absurd (I hadn’t heard the LSM say that) - I think he looks fine for his height, and like they said on F&F it’s very difficult to eat well on the campaign trail (lots of fast foods). I would say he is doing much better in the height/weight ratio than Illary is.

My finance years ago wasn’t always so politically correct in his words. I remember what he said when he say a rather largely overweight woman - “she must have her clothes made by Omar the Tent Maker” - I suspect he’s saying that now about Hill, unless he’s mellowed a bit.
