To state the obvious, Trump is getting to Hillary right now. The Clinton campaign ought to just ignore Trump’s press conference today. Instead either Hillary or who ever runs her Twitter feed is throwing a hissy fit.

Top CNN employees are frustrated. They breathlessly went live to Donald Trump’s news conference at his new hotel in Washington D.C., only to wait helplessly as veterans stood up to explain why they support Trump as commander-in-chief.
“It’s hard to imagine this as anything other than a political rick-roll,” anchor Jake Tapper said wryly as CNN cut away from the broadcast of the Trump event and asked him to comment.
The Trump campaign signaled that the Republican presidential nominee would address the birther controversy, but the first 20 minutes of the event featured veterans telling the media why they supported Trump.
No wonder she’s pissed...it was SUPPOSED to be an easy victory over Jeb! Bush, and that damn Trump screwed up EVERYTHING!
She is going to have ANOTHER stroke.
Why is Hillary disrespecting so many military veterans who just wanted to have their voices heard???

- In reality, those of us freepers who are a bit older remember that the Klown HIMSELF claimed he was born in Kenya. There used to be a video of him as a state senator asked why he does not run for president and from his own mouth he claims he was born in Kenya.
The fly leaf cover of his first book, first edition claims he was born in Kenya. His grandmother in Kenya claimed on a video interview she was at the birth. There are a couple of good reasons to question his sudden, new claim to having been born in Hawaii.
- If they ask Trump in the debate “So do you still think Obama wasn’t born in this country? “ , he should answer “No, but the thing that still puzzles me is that a few weeks before the last election, I offered Obama 50 million dollars - to be donated to his favorite charity- if he would release his college records - application form and such. He declined. I am sure there would have been many charities of Obamas choosing that would have welcomed that money. But he declined.What does that tell you.?”

The birther movement was started in 1991 by Obama’s book publisher when they printed a pamphlet which said Obama was “born in Kenya.”

Both say that the “Claim” Hillary started the birther movement is false.
Technically speaking, it is true. She herself didn’t SAY Obama wasn’t born in the USA, nor did she start what later would become the “movement”, but it WAS her campaign, through Sid Blumenthal, who went to the press with rumors.
The other thing Hillary Clinton’s campaign did was push his Indonesian/Muslim roots, by showing the Somali dress photo, bringing up his education in a Madras, etc., so that is not quote—birther-unquote—just a slightly different smear, but a smear nevertheless.
