Hello beethoven!

Yes! Kennedy Meadows is very familiar to me. I must clarify- there are two Kennedy Meadows. One in the south at mile 702, on the PCT, and one in the north, on the PCT, at mile 1,018. For those wondering what PCT stands for... Pacific Crest Trail, 2,650 miles long, running from Mexico to Canada.

I had a torn tendon and spent 56 days at Kennedy Meadows (south) with a trail angel, taking in wounded hikers.

The Kennedy Meadows I’m familiar with is East of Sonora, high in the Sierra Nevada Mountains...

Wow! 56 days in Kennedy Meadows! I did t know about Trail Angels, but I’m thankful they are there for times like you experienced. Isn’t it amazing to experience such nice people along the way!
