Whether we all want to admit it, the media still wields a giant stick. They can sway the sheep to think one way and if trump is making comments that can be used to those means then he will lose.

His poll numbers have always been higher. The polling companies have all started to change their measurements from voters to "likely voters" since Labor Day. They must attempt to start the glide path to more accuracy before the election to ensure some of their credibility. They gave cover to Hillary as long as they could.
Doubt me. Look back over any election and you will see the same thing. Carter leading Reagan in August 1980. Dukakis leading Bush in August 1988. Gore beating Bush in August 2000.
