I know public figures use their real names as Twitter handles, but do you recommend using your real name?

Just go sign up and follow every news person you can think of. Every day you’ll see more people you want to follow. Don’t use your real name. No reason to do that.

I think only if you are an entity do you need your own name. I’m a no one so I do not use my real name on Twitter. If you need to be on as yourself for your industry or hobby, then you do.
