I've been thinking he'd just do it as late as possible, and while it may obviously never happen, I definitely wasn't expecting Dan Patrick to endorse and then that happened.
Patrick has blasted Trump non stop for as long as I can remember.
Yeah some people have a real hard time accepting reality, and try to ignore it for as long as possible. The closer we get the more people are starting to come around. On top of that I think Trump has been making it easier for them to do so. Of course idiots like Robert Gates will always be stuck on stupid, because that is exactly what they are.
I do not think Cruz will endorse Trump. If he waits until the end of Oct. then he might as well not, because he would lose the support and respect of Cheeto faced Beck, and he would gain nothing. Today was his last chance and he blew it yet again.
