Yeah, it's fuzzy, Panama was a protectorate (subject to US jurisdiction) and his US citizen parents were sent there by the US government.<

They used both jus sanguinis and jus solis to qualify him as a NBC

Did you miss the part about Obama in the Tribe-Olson opinion? Or the resolution issued by the Senate? S.Res. 511 (110th): A resolution recognizing that John Sidney McCain, III, is a natural born citizen

HELL no, he wasn't even born here. And his father was a Cubanadian®. (as is he)

So how can you say the issue is resolved? It is not. We have 300,000 anchor babies born to illegal aliens annually. They receive birthright citizenship. Are they eligible to be President?

I concede McCain, but, like I said.

the resolution issued by the Senate?

You know the resolution means nothing. They could pass a resolution that states the Sun rises in the West.

They receive birthright citizenship

That is also controversial and needs to be killed. Anchor babies and their parents are subject to the jurisdiction of their native country. Sen. Jacob Howard, author of the citizenship clause of the 14th Amendment, wrote:

“This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers.”

Are they eligible to be President?

No. The author considers them to be foreigners. Even though born here, their parents are not citizens. They are also citizens of the parents' nationality.

Did you miss the part about Obama in the Tribe-Olson opinion?

>> Senator Barack Obama was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961 — not long after its admission to the Union on August 21, 1959. <<

That, gentlemen, is not a verifiable fact.

>> We find it inconceivable that Senator Obama would have been ineligible for the Presidency had he been born two years earlier. <<

I find it inconceivable that they would take him at his word, especially after he stated he was born in Kenya, and other outside references saying the same...and especially after knowing he was raised in Indonesia, and mentored by Frank Marshall Davis, and friends of terrorist Bill Ayers.....

Yeah, that right there is some salt-of-the-earth, red-blooded, all American boy!
