Exactly... on one hand, all this makes me wonder why Trump gave the appearance of backing down without insisting that these questions be addressed. On the other hand, my guess is that the issue will be cast even more into the limelight... it's just that it will be pushed by others.

If there is anything that has been learned by watching Trump over the past year, it's that he has a way to turn everything to his advantage. This is a long ways from being over....

As far as the "Birther" thing goes, whoever said that Barry wasn't born with wholly American citizenship, and thus is ineligible to be POTUS, was and still is right about that.
Barry is ineligible to be POTUS and he and the rest know it, too. That's probably why he hid all of his paperwork from US and the rest make US look away.
Whoever started "Birtherism" was simply doing their Constitutional duty, even if it was Hillary! (Imagine that!)
"Birtherism" is simply correctly defining and upholding the Constitution with regard to presidential eligibility.
Of all of the many things that Hillary Clinton, of all people, would get in trouble for, upholding the Constitution is the LAST thing I would have thought of!
Never, in a gazillion trillion years, would I have have seen that one coming, and it's quite a sight to see, that's for sure, but...
To then see the most Constituuushunal amongst US pushing the Cubanadian, Neapolitan-born citizen, Teddy Cruz to be our next ineligible POTUS, making it two in a row???

If Donald Trump made public comments on the controversy during that period (2008) - he was in the private sector, not in public office, exercising concern and freedom of speech. His decision to run for President may, or may not have been motivated at that time, but he had every right to talk about it as every other American citizen did.
Hillary does whatever she wants and the media supports her. Lying, payola, ignoring national security regulations,
secrecy, fake charity, the list is endless.

It has been chopped up, with audio overlayed into it, and zero’s lips do not sync with the audio (I read lips, so I know!) at many of the points where the phrases like ‘not an american citizen’ and ‘born in kenya’ occur.
Also, at some of those places in the vid, it cuts to a long shot so you can’t read his lips
That is all great, but this is the problem...Trump said HILLARY started the birther thing...we need HER or one of her named surrogates on tape saying it. He should have had the info before he said anything..maybe he does and is waiting. He should have said what he had at the presser.

Yeah, from '91 to today is 25 years!!
I read somewhere that obama encouraged that "foreign" angle so he could get big college scholarships and financial aide. Then, it suddenly became inconvenient in 2007 and he had that publicist correct their mistake. But he was OK with it for 16 years.
Trump just might be doing jiu-jitsu/rope-a-dope on the media .
Phil Berg, an illary supporter, brought the first law suit, & he would most likely be a surrogate... track his connections.
But my issue was with the vid; that link I put up turns out to be a parody with the audio messed with.
I didn’t want folks to think it was real & run with it; that kind of stuff can be put out like bait by the opposition and if we bite, they will have a field day with it & have more reason to ridicule us.
