“What about the poor guy who got his foot blown off buy a small IED in Central Park ?”

I do remember and brought it up last night in my posts. That story has already been forgotten, and yes that one also was a bomb - an IED.

The gang that couldn’t shoot straight - our leaders - want us to shut up and continue on our way - no one got killed after all (sarc)

The Central Park event while tragic for the injured student, was unlikely to have been terrorism. The explosive, chemicals in a plastic bag, had been placed in a spot which hardly ever sees foot traffic.NYPD theorized that someone, likely a HS student taking basic chem had tried to make a big bang for the 4th and discarded his effort in a place where it would harm no one, or so he thought.

The reason for the denial is simple really. The media and government are in cahoots to deny Donald Trump any political advantage so any terrorist incident is going to be either ignored, downplayed or made to seem like it came from right wing lunatics (Trump supporters).

That is why they are so quick to say it's not terrorism or the work of muslims. They do not want to hand Trump any political points.

The story hasn't been forgotten. There was an article a couple of days ago about his progress.

That WAS different...and does not look like terrorism but more like abandonment of an experiment.
