Disgusting
You raise an interesting point. I dont think a total boycott of the NFL is likely to succeed, as too many fans are wrapped up in their team. But if a significant chunk of NFL fans agreed to boycott all games except those of their favorite team, the NFL would be brought to its knees. To keep the money machine working, they count on fans watching several games a week.
Wouldn’t know.
I’m done with the NFL.
I wonder how many freepers are still contributing to this lunacy by watching the games on TV, or worse, paying through the nose attending games.
I don’t wish their bodies harm.....I wish their minds and hearts to change.
They’ll have plenty of time to think while they are in traction.
Again...I don’t wish them harm.
I think I saw the one on the left in Predator...
And next week it will be 5 or 6. As long as people keep tuning in it will continue.
This is so 1968 Olympics.
You know, I skipped ALL The games the first week. And I AM torn about the Jets.
I’m not going to go into my personal woes and why I look forward to the game so much, :)...but still, even when EVERYONE stands for a particular game, I feel guilty.
But you’re right. Slashing the 5 live games plus 3 repeats i watch during the week PLUS NOT going to the games PLUS not buying any trinkets, PLUS contacting any endorsers of those that kneel, that’s a big hit.
I wanted to make a list of those who knelt and their endorsements, but it didn’t seem like there was much interest in it.
Americans are in a mess because they CANT SACRIFICE anymore!!! :)
The wise response by the commissioner would be to have the ref throw a flag and declare a forfeit by the team that has players do those disrespectful things. That would end it real quick.
True!
America has become way too politicized. I have read that it is a socialist or communist strategy as it compels people to have to declare sides and therefore polarizes society, making it easier to present government as the solution to everything.
Let’s see...
-public schools
-universities
-government bureaucracy
-unions, especially government unions
-”news” sources/journalism
-movies
-television
-sports
Yup one by one they are polluting everything with politics. Even the Starbucks CEO had to weigh in with his endorsement last week. What an ass.
Best to just turn it off and/or not buy the products. Hopefully it will have a financial impact and they will begin to understand that most people are fed up.
Stupid is as stupid does.
boycotting NFL, ESPN.
It’s to be expected with the regression of race relations under 0bumble to the levels of the 1960s.
Paying more for Chevys, Bud and pizza and losing hours a week, for the priveledge of watching grown men getting dirty rich for playing with a ball, and other men getting rich talking about the men playing with balls... ummm... think I have better things to do. Later, Negro Footbal League.
Don’t think of it as a boycott - it’s a diet. You watch the one game you most care about each week, skip the other 15. If 25% or 35% of NFL fans did this, Roger Goodell would grow a pair overnight.
