Boy howdy has Ted Cruz just spiraled himself and his reputation right down the drain.

"Betraying the party" as one poster put it, is a virtue in my view. Maybe Cruz committed other crimes though, I wouldn't know since I didn't follow him too closely. The present Republican party is mostly evil. Let's hope that Trump can get rid of the rot within it.

Now Cruz says, "stop the flow of refugees from hotbeds of terrorism."

But when Trump said the same thing during the primary, Cruz jumped on board with the liberal media and the RINO republicans in their all out attack on Trump. Here's but one of the many headlines Cruz's kowtowing bought him:

"Cruz Rejects Trump’s Muslim Immigration Ban" - National Review, Dec 2015

And that Cruz display was but one, during the primary, in which he revealed his total lack of character and made this former Cruz supporter and Trump supporter.

There will be time enough after the election for zot-thirsty anti-globalists to a assail Ted Cruz and his conservative supporters but it will occur at a time when Ted Cruz and his supporters will presumably be free of censorship on this forum and able to fight back.

Here's the deal..... Cruz, as you know, said he'd support the nominee. Doing so earned him the help from the RNC in the form of donor lists and other perks.

After he received that help, he decided he couldn't honor his pledge. Gee, it's not like he can give back the help. His pledge was to the RNC, not DJT.

Conservatives don't act like this and stay in good stead with their constituencies.

Had the tables been turned and Cruz beat out Trump, I dare say that you would be expecting Trump supporters to get behind the nominee. It's not censorship, it common sense......BEAT HILLARY!

BEAT HILLARY!

You said "beat Hillary" what you meant was, beat Ted Cruz and Cruz supporters until they beat Hillary.

Don't put your own meaning to my words.

When Cruz reaped the rewards offered by the RNC he needed to uphold his end of the agreement.....with the RNC!

There is no need to beat Ted Cruz. He did that all by himself.

We are much too busy trying win this election and overcome the fraud that is sure to happen. BEAT HILLARY!

But you are never too busy that you don't have time to beat up on Ted Cruz and his followers even though it is making the job to "win this election" all the more difficult.

Well then Ted, how about endorsing, and working for, the candidate who has already made that a key part of his platform?

BUMP-TO-THE-TRUTH

Ted Cruz...what a POS

Advice to Cruz

Step One — oppose Hillary more than Trump.

Step Two — Use what shreds of leverage you have to get Trump to help you fight the internet giveaway:

‘He failed at everything he attempted in the Senate.’

Cruz did get Trump’s favorite senator, Jeff Sessions, to join him in a presser against the Internet Giveaway.

Unfortunately ...

Congress has a dangerous plan that already failed to stop it:

Venture to guess McConnell and Ryan WON’T be helpful.

You can count on McTurtle and Lyin' Ryan to obstruct anything useful. You can count on the "I Hate Cruz" brigade to ignore McTurtle and Lyin' Ryan, while venting their collective spleen at Cruz.

Give it a rest. Cruz is trying to make himself a factor in this election. It's not happening. The election has passed him by and he has no one to blame but himself.

You can try to spin it any way you want. A promise is a promise. Nothing noble about breaking your word. Instead he looks petty and reeks of dishonestly.

Give it a rest.

Give it a rest?

I am not the one who is relentlessly working at cross purposes to his own goals by offending Ted Cruz' supporters.

Teddy sure has a lot of time on his hands while not trying to convince Never Trump traitors to stop Hillary

You kidding? Ted's VERY busy! There's a LOT of work to do between now and December should Trump get elected!

You see, Ted and Kendall can create a lot of mischief here! You think the Convention delegate mess was something - wait until those two get their lawerly hands on December's state-by-state proceedings!

"Tee hee!"

Ted Cruz needs to rally behind our candidate, even if it’s with a bunch of caveats, like his ally Mark R. Levin did. Just make it “official” and be allied in our fight against the Left, and then we can start swinging back to being his ally too. But it seems like Ted Cruz would rather his party and supporters lose this election than do that. It’s not anti-Cruz to point this out.

No, of course not but it might be self-defeating to do so.

I am a Ted Cruz supporter who vowed to vote for Trump long before Jim Robinson's edict was issued and I got in trouble not so much for attacking Donald Trump but for defending Ted Cruz against the charges leveled against him which necessarily offended some Trump supporter vigilantes.

As long as the pre-election censorship obtains in this forum it is impossible to defend Ted Cruz but it is reasonable to share your view that it would be helpful if Cruz did endorse Donald Trump, as I have. That's he does not is quite understandable in view of the deplorable libels against his family and himself, and in view of Trump repudiating his pledge to endorse.

This is a battle that some scalp hunting Trump supporters think they are winning but they are costing votes.

The debate is but days away and the election but weeks away but our zotting vigilantes are ravenously bent on breaking china rather than building a winning coalition. They would rather indulge their feelings of self-righteousness than accept that Cruz is one with them on this issue and offer that unity up to the world as evidence that Trump is right. Cruz is explicitly agreeing with Trump's position but that is as nothing because these purblind haters would rather Ted Cruz be wrong than Donald Trump be right -or victorious.

There you go again......

Intellectually pretending Cruz is NOT the one who is refusing the "building a winning coalition" thing is right up your alley.

Intellectual snobbery and stupidity at the same time.

Vote Trump. Support Trump. He's the only one that can do the right thing on this issue, and a host of others. Support him whole heartedly, get over your silliness.

It's time. Because, unlike Ted, most of us know there will be no second chance for our country, and that there will be noting to save if Hillary wins.
