In early April last year, 23-year-old Thomas Sewell headed along to a Reclaim Australia rally in Melbourne. It was one of 16 rallies attended by thousands of people across the country.
Thomas wasn’t draped in an Australian flag or covering his mouth with a mask; he wasn’t wielding placards; he didn’t look like the guys who were splashed across newspapers the next day.
“I was just curious as to what was going on,” Thomas told Hack.
“I rocked up with nice clothes, not looking for a punch-on. To hear people speak. All I wanted to do was hear people speak.
“It’s the first time I’d heard of a public demonstration in this country, calling for the government to look at its immigration policy in regards to Islamic migration.”
Thomas approached a group of protesters, not knowing they weren’t on his “side”.
They told me to ‘go f*** myself, Nazi’.”
“I was very naive of the situation, I was unaware there was any form of counter-protest.”
Today, Thomas isn’t naive to of the swell of counter-protesters who clashed with Reclaim Australia that day. He now calls them ‘Communists’, ‘Trotskyites’, ‘Fabian socialists’, ‘cultural Marxists’, ‘lefties’, or, sometimes, just ‘thugs’.
Today, now on the leadership team of the United Patriots Front (UPF), a group that formed off the back of Reclaim Australia, Thomas calls himself a Patriot.
“Pompous self righteous imbeciles who fancy to a man that they are intellectuals. but most wouldn’t know karl marx from Groucho Marx.”

I am not understanding who the protesters are. Who is it that knows enough to protest the rally and to organize a group and is vulgar enough to scream the obscenities. Who are these people?
In the United States they are often Democrats. But their numbers are smaller since Unions who once filled their ranks no longer protest against groups that are anti-immigration. So now, its just a small number of immigrants and some extreme lefties. I can’t figure out why someone who does not own a company should take the effort to protest for immigration.

It’s early days, but I think it’s roots are in the country towns; young Nationalists.
It’s true enough. And personally I am not happy about it. I’m conservative but I’m not far right and some of these groups are extreme enough to be potentially dangerous. And some of their members certainly are.
I think they make real immigration reform harder, although I do understand why they are angry, and they have every right to express their views and I object even more to those who try to silence them, than I do to them.

Heaven knows what upset them this time. Personally, I'm close to becoming a right wing extremist myself. I would like to smash their disgusting 'behead all those who insult the prophet' signs over their head, and make them eat their beyond the pale ISIS flags.
Then watch me accused of being racist. Of course, we know don't we, they behave in this disgusting fashion only to provoke us.
One day they will push too hard.
Meanwhile I'm waiting for one of the right wing extremists to show up with a 'behead all muslims who threaten violence against us' and see what happens.

Poll suggests 49 percent of Australians back Muslim migrant ban
Federal Labor has cautioned against the findings of a poll showing almost half of all Australians want a ban on Muslim immigrants
Forty-nine per cent of people surveyed in an Essential poll agreed that Muslims should be blocked from the country while 40 per cent disagreed with the idea.
There was 60 per cent support for the ban among coalition voters, 40 per cent from Labor and a surprising 34 per cent from Greens voters.
More than a third felt Muslims did not integrate into Australian society as their main reason for supporting a ban, with some citing concerns about terrorism and lack of uptake of Australian values, the poll published in The Guardian showed.

Is it not interesting to see that ordinary Australian patriots who want to secure the peace and order of their country are labelled “far right.” .
They are not far right. They are simply not dimmi liberals who have a totalitarian inside screaming to get out, who agree with taqqiya that Islam is a religion of peace.
Sharia is a method of dehumanization and conquest, a destroyer of individual freedom.ONE NATION has the truth figured out, and that needs to be presented to Australians wholesale.

They are not liberals who all have a totalitarian inside , screaming to get out. They are just,righteous patriots securing their own peace and freedom.
