JonBenet Ramsey was killed by her older brother Burke and it was covered up by her parents after a fight over a midnight snack of pineapples, investigators have claimed.
The six-year-old's mother Patsy Ramsey called 911 on December 26, 1996 to report that her six-year-old daughter had been kidnapped from her family's home in Boulder, Colorado.
JonBenet, a child beauty queen, was found beaten and strangled on the floor of the family's cellar several hours after the 911 call.

Not of any particular opinion on this but....
There exists DNA evidence (and it is a well known fact) collected at the crime scene that has not been positively identified.
This fact always gets overlooked during these discussions.
DB Cooper shows up on the History Channel, the Ramsey case gets two hours of prime time on broadcast TV.
Actually if you read the comments, it has been addressed on this thread at least a few times.

I watched an interview of Burke and Dr Phil (think it was Phil-not sure) Where Burke had a smile (sometimes a huge smile) on his face that never left- even when discussing his sister’s wounds.
There’s something wrong with that boy. This is very abnormal.
I’ve also heard the theory put forth that Mr. Ramsey was abusing her, Patsy found out, blamed Jonbenet and killed her in a fit of rage.

Great theory except it does not fit the evidence.

No prosecutor will charge someone who can’t be tried.
It gets overlooked because it means nothing. DNA — or any other evidence — found anywhere means nothing without a chain of evidence. There is no reason to believe the “outside” DNA found at the crime scene came from the perpetrators any more than that it might have come from someone handling the DNA in the store or in the manufacture of the clothing.
They weren’t indicted. The GJ voted for indictment but the DA didn’t sign the indictment — hence, it didn’t happen. The DA does have that discretion, even if you think it was misused.
Burke could not have been held criminally responsible as he was only 9 at the time. There would have been no reason to cover up the event and risk a criminal charge of doing just that. Plus, the manner of death doesn’t really suggest he killed her. She was hit AND strangled — had he just hit her, they would have taken her to the hospital immediately. Its exceedingly difficult to kill someone, move their body, and not leave a trail of evidence that even a rookie criminalist couldn’t see.

Yeah, I sort of laughed when I saw that. The CBS show was far from convincing.
That is not conspiracy unless you can be tried, and again, as an "infant" he could not have been.
His ongoing denials of involvement are not conspiracy.
I’ve studied this case from top to bottom, many times, and always come back to the same conclusion: a ransom note was left FOR A DEAD CHILD IN THE BASEMENT. It just makes no sense. The FBI said they’d never seen anything like that. Plus, the ransom note - and practice ransom note - were both written on paper that was already in the house, with a pen that was already in the house. Hmmm.
I believe Occam’s Razor is needed for this case: When there are two competing theories, the one with the fewest assumptions is usually correct. I just can’t fathom an intruder acting in this way. Too many risks, too many chances.
One more thought, and this is a tad icky. If an intruder did this he was definitely a pedophile and would’ve left A LOT of DNA, if you know what I mean. Instead, we’re left with tiny, minute samples of DNA (not semen) that could’ve come from anywhere.
As for Burke being responsible for JB’s head wound, that is possible although I believe it would’ve been hard for him to not crack under police questioning. Yes, he was very socially awkward in his interviews with Dr. Phil, but that doesn’t make him responsible.
There are three things in this case that, if they can be answered, would solve it:
1) How did the pineapple get in JB’s stomach?
2) Who wrote the 2-and-a-1/2 page ransom note?
3) A neighbor reported seeing a light in the Ramsey’s breakfast/kitchen area around midnight, and possibly a shadow or shadows moving in the light. He stated he’d never seen a light on in that area of the house - at that time of night - before.
No intruder broke into the house, killed the girl, and spent an hour or two writing a fake note and staging the crime scene with materials found around the house, politely putting the pen and paper back where they belonged. Nobody came through the basement window.
There's more than that, but there's really no doubt this was an inside job.

The strangulation was likely post mortem and there was plenty of time to stage the scene. Not difficult for two educated resouceful people as the Ramsey’s
That's just silly. First, Dr. Phil is an idiot. Second, what you are going to get from the Ramsey's is going to be what serves their interest.
