Any time some moron pushes this absurd line, a sensible person should ask for a list of actual violent anti-Muslim “backlash” instances. Compare that short or empty list with the list of 28,000 Islamic terrorist attacks just since 9/11, and it’s obvious that this hypothetical potential for a backlash is a mere distraction based on fiction.
